adidas and Pharrell Williams’ Humanrace continue to invite runners into a reimagined ritual of running, where movement takes on meaning, performance meets purpose, and intentions underpin motion with the release of the Adizero EVO SL in colorway ‘Mars’, accompanied by apparel, including a matching track jacket and short set.
With the Adizero EVO SL, adidas and Humanrace encourage the community to view running as more than just a measure of distance; it’s a daily practice of wellness, mindfulness, and innovative design. Each stride with the EVO SL transforms movement into a powerful source of energy, clarity, and balance, seamlessly blending performance with renewal. Now, with the release of ‘Mars’, it stands as a heartfelt tribute to the wonders of the solar system, celebrating the cosmos in every run.

Inspired by the dust of Mars, the colorways pay tribute to the extraterrestrial planet. The campaign shot in Painted Hills, Oregon, is further enhanced by being showcased on terrain that resembles Martian landscapes. It envisions a runner charging through this rugged environment, continuing the narrative of running and movement as a meaningful expression. This story emphasizes running as a daily practice of wellness, mindfulness, and design-led innovation.
With a design rooted in the striking elite DNA of Adios Pro EVO 1, yet built for the full range of everyday movement, this iteration is for purpose-led runners, those who want to look and feel fast. With full-length LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam underfoot, the shoe offers a high-stack, smooth, dynamic ride, deliberately powered without stiffening elements. The engineered mesh upper delivers zone-specific support for enhanced breathability where it matters most.
Alongside the sneaker, adidas and Humanrace present the Mars apparel, consisting of a matching jacket and shorts. The shorts are mid-thigh in length, loose-fitting, and breathable, making them perfect for outdoor activities. The jacket is slightly more fitted than a typical track jacket, providing runners with extra room to move. It features an adjustable bottom and is made from lightweight material.
The Mars pack will feature a track jacket ($120), shorts ($70), and the Humanrace Adizero EVO SL ($160) sneaker by Pharrell Williams. The drop will be available for purchase at select adidas retailers and online at adidas.com starting March 21. Signups are currently open on the CONFIRMED App.
